[Culture] The Story of 马马虎虎
马马虎虎, an idiom that literally means "horse, horse, tiger, tiger", is often used by Chinese people to express something is not excellent or just okay. You have came across it when learning greetings. Still remember George Bush's face? :) People also use it to show modesty about their ability as modesty and humility are deemed as virtues by Confucius.
